Advisor - Anne Sparrowhawk Anne Sparrowhawk
Anne Sparrowhawk started work in the educational publishing industry, and has been involved with computers and education, since the 1980s. She has worked on lots of projects looking at how software can develop children’s learning, both at home and at school. She has been involved in the creation of many programs, and in particular, in running trials during the development phase. Other projects have involved researching how teachers and pupils use resources in the classroom, and this practical understanding is very important as a way of informing new product developments. She also is a director of TEEM, which is a website publishing evaluations that teachers have written of software for classroom use.
